Challenge: The existing Knowledge Center category pages were reported as being difficult to navigate and giving an unfinished impression. User feedback highlighted a need for a more dynamic and user-friendly design.
Objective: Create a new, engaging category page template that enhances usability. This involved redesigning over 80 category pages using the new template while maintaining the consistency of the existing content.
Role & Approach: Collaborating with the team, I led the redesign process. I created a visually dynamic template that incorporated imagery, and clear and concise headers for easier navigation, and expanded the use of the company’s primary color palette from 2 to 5 colors. This added vibrancy while maintaining brand integrity.
Outcome: All redesigned category pages were launched two weeks ahead of schedule, receiving positive feedback from both internal stakeholders and external clients for their improved usability and visual appeal.
Tools Used: SharePoint, Photoshop, and an internal AI system for optimizing copy keywords.
